Stephen “Steve” Bouabbse is a prominent property developer and diversified investor based in the dynamic city of Dubai. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Steve’s journey into the realms of property and construction began at an early age, shaped by his experiences growing up in a middle-class family in the western suburbs. Witnessing the transformation of his neighborhood through redevelopment ignited a deep-seated passion for construction that would define his career.
Early on, Steve embarked on small-scale projects, honing his skills and understanding of the industry. His innate drive and ambition soon propelled him to scale his ventures, leading to significant investments in real estate and the execution of larger, more ambitious construction projects. During this period, Steve founded a commercial-scale waterproofing and tiling company, successfully completing numerous high-rise, luxury developments across Sydney. His entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there; he also established a trucking company that functioned behind the scenes, further diversifying his business portfolio.
For over a decade, Steve and his wife, Harmony, frequently visited Dubai, initially for leisure. However, the allure of the UAE’s thriving business landscape and real estate opportunities gradually drew them in. As their children began their schooling, the couple made the pivotal decision to relocate permanently to Dubai, embracing the city as their new home.
In recent years, Steve and Harmony have made significant strides in the Dubai real estate market, channeling their passion for high-end projects into remarkable investments in both construction and property. Their commitment to excellence has not only led to the design and construction of luxurious developments but has also resulted in breaking property sales records in the region.
Steve firmly believes in the potential of Dubai as a global hub for business and innovation, recognizing it as a city that embodies the future. His diverse portfolio spans property investments, construction, stock market ventures, and silent stakes in various startups.
